Is Aguasol Tequila additive-free?
Yes. Aguasol contains no sweeteners, glycerin, artificial flavors, or colorings. Every bottle is made with only fully mature agave, natural spring water, and sunshine.
Where is Aguasol Tequila made?
Aguasol is produced and bottled at Tequila Cascahuín (NOM 1123) in El Arenal, Jalisco, Mexico. The distillery is family-owned and operated, representing four generations of tequila-making expertise.
What tequilas does Aguasol offer?
Aguasol currently offers two expressions: a Blanco and a Reposado. Both are 40% ABV, available in 375ml, 750ml, and 1L sizes, and made using traditional production methods with zero additives.

What does "Aguasol" mean?
The name combines “agua” (water) and “sol” (sun), two of the three natural ingredients used to make the tequila. The third is agave.
How is Aguasol Tequila made?
Aguasol is made using traditional methods: agave piñas are slow-cooked in stone steam ovens, milled to extract fermentable sugars, fermented with naturally occurring yeast in open-air tanks, and double distilled in copper pot stills. All tequilas are produced in small batches.
What is NOM 1123?
NOM 1123 is the official Mexican government registration number for Tequila Cascahuín, the distillery where Aguasol is produced. NOM numbers identify the specific distillery responsible for a tequila’s production.
Who founded Aguasol Tequila?
Aguasol was co-founded by Charles Attal and Eduardo Margain, two Austin, Texas natives. The idea was born backstage at a music festival where they wanted a clean, additive-free tequila option.
